WE MADE IT!!!!!!!! After 3425 miles, we arrived in Clarkston, WA - our final destination. Saturday, we drove up to McCall, ID along the Peyette River. It was a very pretty drive. The higher we got, the more snow there was. At one point, I pulled over to let some cars pass; unfortunately, the pull-off was covered with ice. The wheels just spun when I tried to leave. Thank goodness I put that bag of ice melt in the storage compartment at the last moment before we left. McCall had several feet of snow around which was a hit with the kids. Yesterday, we drove down along the Salmon river to Clarkston. Again, it was a pretty drive. We have a camping spot right on the snake river and plan to stay about a week until our furniture arrives.
